Medical insurance is required for participation in out-of-season and in-season athletic conditioning, practices and contests.

FCPS provides an opportunity to purchase accident insurance. It is highly recommended that parents consider using this as a secondary insurance for their student athlete. It is also recommended that the dental insurance option be purchased as most health insurance plans do not cover accidental dental injuries.

Students without family medical insurance coverage may choose to purchase school accident insurance to comply with this requirement.

K&K Insurance will provide school accident insurance for the 2015-16 school year.

Again, High Option School Time coverage is recommended for all sports except football, and all out-of-season practice and conditioning. Football option is required for participation in Freshman, JV or Varsity football July 30, 2019 through the end of the season.

School Accident Insurance may be purchased online (click on link below). If this is purchased as your PRIMARY insurance, please print a receipt page and provide that to your school as proof of coverage.
