Katie Warehime

Coach Warehime is a graduate of Shepherd University where she was a member of the 2007-08 WVIAC League Championship team that made it to the NCAA Division II Sweet Sixteen.  She led the team in points per game (14.4), field goal percentage (51.5%) and free throw percentage (78%). She was named to the NCAA East Regional All-Tournament Team, scoring more points than any other player in the Tournament. She was named the 2008 Shepherd University Female Athlete of the Year. During the 2008-09 Season, Coach Warehime led her team in points per game (17.1), field goal percentage (50.4%) and free throw percentage (80%).


Coach Warehime was named to the WVIAC All League Team (twice), and WVIAC All-Tournament Team (07-08). She has the highest career shooting percentage in Shepherd University Women’s Basketball history.  Before attending Shepherd University Coach Warehime played at Fairleigh Dickinson University where she was named to the North East Conference (NEC) All Rookie Team, NEC Rookie of the week (twice) and led her team in field goal and free throw percentages.  She finished her collegiate career scoring 1,291 points.
Following graduation from Shepherd University, Coach Warehime traveled overseas and played professionally for Ludwigsburg Germany in the DBBL.  During that time, she was 2nd in the league in scoring with 19.3 points per game. 

Coach Warehime is a native of Littlestown, PA. Along with receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Shepherd University, she was awarded her Masters in Counselor Education from Clemson University.  She is currently a school counselor at Oakton High School.
