Assistant Coach Krista Jay was a four-year letter winner for the George Mason University Patriots from 1994 to 1998.  A starter for each of those years and Mason's CAA Women's Basketball Legend, Coach Jay is imprinted in the Mason history books in many categories. The 5' 10" guard who earned All-rookie honors from the Colonial Athletic Conference as a freshman, finished her career with 1,400 points, good for seventh all-time. One of the deepest shooters in Mason history, Coach Jay ended her career third in 3-point field goals made with 146. She also finished her career with 144 steals, tied for 13th all-time, 156 assists, good for 20th all-time and 24th in rebounding with 415.  In 2009, the Colonial Athletic Conference included Coach Jay in its ninth class of basketball legends. 

After graduating from George Mason University with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education, Coach Jay played professionally for Alvik 08 in Stockholm, Sweden.  Upon her return to the United States she was named Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach under Dan Durkan at Duquesne University.  During her time with the Duquesne Dukes, the women's basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship.

Along with being the Assistant Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, the Artemas, PA. native is also the Assistant Athletic Director at Oakton High School.
