Kalpan is entering his first season with the Oakton baseball program ... Will coach the varsity team's outfielders this season ... Previously served as the Director of Baseball Operations at George Mason University from 2011-13, and as a varsity assistant coach at W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax from 2009-11 ... Attended W.T. Woodson, where he helped the Cavaliers win a Liberty District championship in 2005, and played at Washington College in Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in History in 2009 ... Works as a World History I teacher at the school ... Resides in Arlington with his fiance, Lara.
