Center forward, Jackie Rupp, sent in the winning goal in a one on one challenge with Madison's goalkeeper, Christina Ceppi, in overtime when regulation ended tied at 0-0. In the first season game, Oakton goalie, Mira Tanenbaum, staved off Madison offensive drives along with strong defense overall by the Cougars including Rachel Kuykendall, Kelsey Weathers, Erin Keenan, and Alexa Corso. On her birthday, Adelle Clinton, along with Erika Kaufhold, led the offensive drives from midfield.
