PRESEASON PARENT MEETING

The Boys Soccer program will be holding a Parent Meeting for all students who are interested in trying out for the Spring Varsity and JV team. We will be holding the meeting on January 11th at 7pm in the Cafeteria.

During this meeting we will be discussing tryout schedule, tryout process, paperwork needed for tryouts, important dates, fundraising, the Varsity trip to Smokey Mountain National Invitational in April and what you and your son can expect once they make the team.

I would recommend all players of returners and potential players to attend this. This will also be a great opportunity to meet the coaches and ask questions related to the program.

We look forward to meeting all of you there.

Coach Todd

FUNDRAISING PROGRAM THROUGH ETEAMSPONSORS.COM

This year the Boys Soccer program will be using www.eteamsponsor.com to fundraise for the program. Eteamsponsor is online fundraising campaign where we ask everyone who is planning on trying out for the 2017 program to provide at least 10 names who we can contact through eteamsponsor for possible donations to the program. All money raised will go to the program directly and is 100% tax deductible for donors. The money will be used for equipment such as balls, nets and other training needs for the program. In Fairfax County all clubs and sport programs are 100% self funded and every year we must raise money for equipment, uniforms and other team needs.

This year we have been invited to participate in the Smokey Mountain Invitational in April which is a national invitational where will be competing against the Nations top High School programs so we need to raise money for lodging and transportation.

Our fundraising goal for the year is $12,000. I am posting under team files on the Boys Soccer Page the form for all potential players which has instructions for how to enter in your information. Through eteamsponsor we can track how well your list is performing and who has donated the most. We will be providing a gift for the person who's account raises the most donations to the program.

I want to thank everyone up front for their hard work to help make this program great.
