Mar. 3rd: Spring Sports Parents Meeting at 7:00pm in the Auditorium
Mar. 4th: First Scrimmage
 
Lacrosse Interest Meeting
The lacrosse staff will be hosting a Oakton Lacrosse Interest Meeting at Oakton High School on Wednesday, February 4th at 7:30pm in the Oakton Cafeteria. The following items will be discussed: Winter Workouts, Tryouts, 2009 Schedule, Spring Break, etc.

All returning parents/athletes and new prospective parents/athletes are expected to attend.

Timed Runs
We will continue our program for ALL lacrosse players where we will have two timed runs to gauge your progress before the tryouts start.

Our first timed run will be on February 7th at 2:30pm on the Oakton Track. We will have our final timed run on Saturday, February 21st as part of the Equipment Issue at 9:00am.

Those players who do not attend these sessions will be required to run them the first week of practices.

*Due to cold temperatures, please bring appropriate outdoor running gear.

Tryouts
Tryouts start on Monday, February 23rd! You need to have a physical and emergency care card filled out! Every year we have players sit on the sidelines during the first week because they did not do their paperwork ahead of time – Don’t be one of them!
